Aston based sheet metal experts Radshape are a successful business with over 40 years experience in the manufacturing industry. Although they already offer a diverse range of products, they recently decided to expand their repertoire even further with the launch of RadshapeRC - a new sister operation that manufactures and upgrades remote controlled cars.
The bold firm were greeted with a successful launch in 2009 which achieved £12k sales in the first 12 months. Now they generate their 2009 annual turnover every month and serve clients in 26 different countries around the world.
With projected sales this year set to hit £150k, RadshapeRC now have enough confidence in their new business to invest and expand. Their product range has increased to 350 and they will move to a new 7,500 sq ft facility in 3 months, employing 10 people with forecasted plans to account to 20% (£1m) of total company turnover by 2014/15.
